HPV Symptoms

It is in utmost importance to study the symptoms of the Human Papillomavirus, also known as HPV. Only with proper knowledge can we fight the virus, and be prepared to quickly eliminate its effects in our body. In this article, we will be discussing different methods on how to check if you are possibly carrying the human papillomavirus.

Everybody have different opinions about HPV symptoms. Some people would never want to hear or know about it, mostly because of fear. While others would seek more information about it even though they know that they are less likely to be a candidate as HPV carrier. You should be aware that most HPV infections do not reveal any symptoms or signs. And I’m sure the only reason you’ve gone this far is because you’re one of those people who gives much importance to their health, which gives you great advantage over HPV. Now, I have gathered below all the valuable information I learned from my keen research in recognizing the symptoms of HPV in males, and females.

Method 1

  • The first, and best method to know if you have HPV is to schedule an appointment with your trusted doctor. Most people keep silent about what they might have and do all the testing all by themselves. Sure the benefit of this is that no one will ever know if you have it, which takes you away from shame (though you shouldn’t find it shameful at all). But what if I tell you that it is more wise if you decide to go and see a doctor.  One of the benefits is that you may be able to save more money if ever the doctor finds out that you’re not infected at all. You will never have to go through many testing, which may even bring more damage if done in the wrong manner. Another is that your doctor will surely supply enough information about what you’re going through. Though HPV is often associated with warts or genital warts, it is not always the cause of these warts or other abnormalities you might be experiencing. Plus going to a doctor saves you from worrying about things that you shouldn’t be worrying at all.
  • Method 2

  • The second method is to check for genital warts. For females, this appear often in the inner lining of the vagina. The warts may appear to be something like a cauliflower with a shade of pink or red. For males, this usually appear around the penis. And may also show up around the anus for both male and female. But be aware that not all HPV strains causes only genital warts but it may show in some other forms like plantar warts, common warts, or flat warts.
  • Method 3

  • Have your pap test and pelvic exam regularly. It is important to know the changes that is happening in the cervix. And the reason these tests are important is because they are the best way to recognize if there is an HPV infection present in your body.
  • Method 4

  • Bleeding has always been a sign of abnormality in the body. If you ever experience bleeding, especially after having sex, you should go and immediately set an appointment with your doctor. The two most common symptom of cervical cancer, which is usually linked to HPV, are  irregular bleeding and spotting.
  • Remember, though you may find many information teaching you about how to check if you have HPV all by yourself, still the best way to find out if you have the human papillomavirus is to seek advise from your trusted doctor.
